No two bodywork sessions will ever be exactly the same - I meet each horse where they are that day, and help them wherever their body needs the most support.

Offering a wide range of modalities to effectively target various problem areas, backed by years of knowledge to be able to chose the correct option to produce the best results.

Rather than temporary relief, I prioritize correcting postural and compensatory patterns that would continue to cause damage and dysfunction in the horse.

overview

INITIAL EVALUATION SESSION

contact

This session is for new clients and includes a full evaluation of the horse, including rider influence and tack, from teeth to tail.

Evaluation Goals:

  • Evaluate your horse via full body palpation, posture, and conformation, mouth/head assessment, and back health/saddle fit.

  • Identify areas that are strong and healthy and areas that could be improved, including muscle functionality/sensitivity, strength and conditioning, range of motion of joints, and balance.

After I watch your horse move in hand and either under saddle or on the lunge line, I will perform a full bodywork session. The bodywork session may include a range of modalities depending on what your horse will benefit from.

bit fitting COnsultation

As I am nearing the end of my certificate in bit fit consulting, I am very excited to be offering for a limited time student rate bit fittings!

Comprehensive bit fit consultation includes an evaluation of the horse's head and mouth conformation, followed by ridden evaluation and trial of several bits to find the best option for horse and rider. I carry a large stock of bits including Neue Schule, Trust, Harry's Horse, Herm Sprenger, and more, which are available for purchase at time of the fitting.

Tired of driving to the tack shop, standing in front of a wall of bits and feeling confused and overwhelmed? I would love to help find the best option for you and your horse!
